Works of art

Some of Nasim Farasati's photographic artworks describe the essence and feeling of Nasim.

Women in the fire

This photo shows the contradictions and
suppressions. It's not a pleasant photo. It
expresses the pain of society.
The women in hejab (Islamic dress code)
appear as if they are surrounded by the
fire and are burning.

The figure behind the woman resembles a devil (demon), something dirty and deviant. The character behind her is like a
threat in all areas against the women. This figure symbolizes all evil.
The color red is the color of lust, excitement and agitation.
The woman's gaze shows her care, stability and vigilance.
A demon that has always surrounded the woman throughout history. The atmosphere is threatening full of fear and
terror.

It stands for stability, peace and security in a free society. It is obvious that life
goes on. The woman and the man are balanced side by side and in a square frame that symbolizes equality and balance. In a frame with light in the background.
The light signifies future, hope and progress. The light symbolizes an
enlightened life. This photo is the photo of my wishes. The equality.
The desire to live in such a train that rides to an enlightened (beautiful) future,
forward, to freedom. In complete balance there is no violation and no concern.
This photo was taken by Nasim in the Netherlands.

This way of clothing like mafia men. A mafioso and closed life.
One person commands from above and the others execute.
Women have no place in this society. The full patriarchal systems.
The stone wall behind them is a sign of the foolishness (dogmatism) of these men.

It shows all the fuss, busyness and discrepancies within a patriarchal community. This photo with out-of-focus lines of shadow and light is what causes the faces to be blurry and demon-like, and the woman standing in the corner of the photo is trying to distance herself from this evil and infringement.

 A Patriarchy

The men on the side stand next to the world built by men and the child is a symbol of innocence. The lost innocence of these men who carelessly stand opposite of each other. In this child's
nostalgic gaze, we see women and inequality in a symbolic way.
The women who have been ignored by men throughout history. They walk very miserable on the road that has been built
for them by men. The crowd behind them is completely
cryptic, as a reference to an unknown future. An unstable concept without identity and the people are all watching. The course of an unstable time and innocence.
